My laptop got smashed really badly a few months ago,: Wednesday, January 14, Netgear does NOT support this device officially beyond Vista. It always amazes me.. Tried installing the updates and didnt work. It recognized the adapter, however, I had to manually run Windows Update to download the driver. Well dang, I tried everything else to no avail, was trying to avoid it, but ended up getting them there too, grrr, gotta admit that not only is it working, but it seems to be faster than its ever been. Netgear obviously wont have any new drivers for it, as its 2 yrs old. In the dropdown box for the region where you are located select your country from the list.
Also upon booting did you hit F8 and select the option to not use digitally signed drivers? It always amazes me.
